Hey guys, so I've got the 2003 dodge ram 1500 3.7L v6, I've always dreamed of having me a blacked out dodge ram and finally got it but damn I found out real quick why I got a good deal, the ball joint's and tie rod ends were well let's just say wayyy past their expiration, the tires were from first glance not bad but close look had bald spots so had to get 4 new ones, but I'm rambling my issues I need some input on are 1. Squeaky belt/fan?? I have greased all I could grease without covering serp. Belt and yes, the belt is like brand new I've seen others with similar problems and researched and searched and nobody has came out with a solution!? 2. With this type engine and exhaust system... what's some reasonably cheap things I can do to enhance performance and torque, i have acquired the tune up chip and fuEl treatments, transmission treatment as well! Guys any feedback would be very appreciated thanks!!

If the belt is new the next thing to check is the belt tensioner. Over time, and mileage, the spring in the tensioner can wear and become ‘soft’ allowing the belt to slip. Might be worth replacing tensioner and belt anyway.
The basics of performance are based on... more air in, more fuel in, bigger brighter spark and exhaust gas out faster.
Cheaper Performance upgrades can be:-
Performance air filter, thinner grade engine oil, upgraded spark plugs. A custom built exhaust system can also increase performance but does cost you more. Using a higher ‘premium’ fuel type will also help.
Depending on you spend limit, after these suggestions your looking at turbo, supercharger and transmission upgrades.

SOURCE: i need the cylinder layout for a 2004 dodge ram sr...
Looking from the front of the engine everything on the right is odd number starting with 1-3-5-7-9. and everything to your left will be even starting with 2-4-6-8-10. The coil pack in front to the right will be 3-7-1. and to the left it is 2-4-6. On the rear coil pack to the right it is 9-5. And to the left on rear coil pack it will be 8-10. Hope this will help you.

SOURCE: Replaced front seal on my '97 Dodge Ram 1500, V6
Assembly of converter to trans and then tunit to engine? The torque converter must engage and slide into the front pump. The seal is easily damamaged if not properly fitted.Once the trans is against the engine the converter can be slid forward to bolt the flex plste. There should not be more than approx. 1/4 inch between the converter and trans bell housing if the converter is properly mated to the trans. Good Luck, Ned.
