step by step instruction pretty much only in a repair manual. but the alignment for the marks can be printed out for you by most auto parts stores

orielly sells the books you will need. They sell chilton which will give you step by step procedure, I hope you have air compressor and air tools. It can be done by hand but it is no fun. Hope this helps.

Visual aids and step by step instructions ... this is no simple process ... can be found in the library automotive section. Go do some research on this before you try. Obviously, you are not a professional ... neither am I. I would do exactly what I am suggesting BEFORE I tried a procedure like this.

As far as a Step-by-Step procedure: It would literally take dozens of Pages using this type of forum. I strongly suggest for your sake: to purchase a Haynes or Chilton Manual, available at most auto parts stores for around $20-$25. These have every step-by-step procedure you will need; including the Torques Specifications for each and every Bolt and/or Nut you are removing or loosening.

It will show you step by step on how to do it. It's the do-it-yourself bible for your car.
This way you have all the pictures, diagrams and other info you need. It's great research material.

Do you mean to say the "Procedure" for changing a timing belt in a 92 Prelude?

By asking such a question I can only interpret it as a clear indication that you've never changed a timing belt before.

If this is true, then you don't want to start out or practice on your own car.

Get the car to a pro and have the job done right.

If not true (and you've changed timing belt's in the past)
