Need to get into the trunk - lost master key

I have a 2005 ES330!

The dealership does all my repairs, but I found this.

This is how I reset the security system each time after disconnecting the battery:

1. Insert master key (non-remote master) into driver's side door.
2. Remove key.
3. Insert master remote key into driver's side door.
4. Remove key.
5. Insert master key (non-remote master) into ignition.
6. Remove key.
7. Insert master remote key into ignition.
8. Remove key.

should be able to get in behind rear seats and opperate boot release from inside

Have a local shop listen to this.

1. Open trunk
2. Place latch in lock position
3. Pull inside trunk release to see what isn't moving
4. If trunk key won't turn, the key may be worn out and need to be replaced

using a crowbar press the bottom of the seat toward the trunk until it's bottom releases from the clips then remove the seat from the car.
to remove the seat back; pull up on the bottom of the seat back to remove it

Hi, try loosening the catch on the trunk lid but do not remove it and the lock mechanism, close the trunk lid but not fully, then pull the backseats down and climb into the trunk. Adjust the lock and latch until they meet up and lock together ( This will take some time and patience is essential). Fasten the Catch and Lock back up. Then retry opening and closing, if it still doesnt fit just do the same again, just needs a bit of adjustment.

key works remote doesnot work

2000 jag trunk locked dead battery-use MASTER KEY ONLY to open trunk location is above rear lic plate looks like hex screw ---the valet key will not open trunk-you cannot go thru back seat thr release for them are in the trunk-hope this helps someone

its working correctly, hold the trunk release for 2 seconds
