Will idle high sometimes up to 3000 rpms when driving or sitting still

UPDATE: Dealer never was able to fix the problem so I got rid of this vehicle. This has been the abxolute worst car I have ever owned. I had so many mechanical breakdowns I am amazed theat people still buy these Jeeps. I bought this Jeep new and had transmission, rear end and clutch problems from the get go.
