Periodic power loss to ignition on 2000 Tundra.

Periodic loss of power. I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra. On two occassions, first start of the day, early morning, I went to start the truck. On the first click, it seems I heard a faint noise for 1/2 second. Subsequent turns it was completely dead...nothing. After 5 or 6 turns, removing the key, changing gear selector, it would crank over and start just fine. However, each time this happened, I noticed my clock was reset, lost my saved channels on the radio, and trip counters were reset. Thus, I figured it was a total loss of power somehow.

No power to gauge and fan motor 2000 tundra

HVAC post?
the Heater fan motor is dead on high?
the Cluster gauges and warning lamps are all dead?
what is dead, and what is not?
power loss, engine power,
do check all fuses first. in both boxes
if fix the fan first. he heater fan nust work on high.
if not fix that. its very simple and if you fix that, there is a good chance
other things start working
the #1 thing to fix first is headlights or parking lamps dead .
as these all work keys in pocket. and is an easy fix.

Have a bad positive battery cable on 2000 Toyota Tundra V8

Doubt it is the Battery Cable, even with some corrosion

You do a Voltage Drop test on Cable before you remove
to examine or replace

Put Volt Meter probes on both ends of cable & see if
you drop more than .02 Volts, then it is either bad inside
or the ends need cleaning

Check Fuel Pressure. That is a more likely cause of the slow
to start or weak ignition spark

I am showing a #7 misfire on my 2000 tundra v8 4.7l. Have changed sparkplugs and still have same problem. Is there a way to test this ignition coil?

You can switch ignition coil to the other cylinder to check if the misfire follows that pack. Or check for ohms.
