no not really. the only speacial tool you might need is a fuel line coupler tool but they only cost a few dollars and are available at your local parts store. just unbolt the two straps holing the tank and the fuel inlet hose and vent hose. lower the tank till you see the top and then disconnect the lines and wires and lower the tank to the ground. if you need any more help while your at the parts store you can pick up a haynes manual and the have pics and step by step directions

The rear seat is bolted to the floor either from the inside or the outside. If attached from the undercarriage you will need to locate the rubber plugs that cover the bolt head or the hex nuts to the seat. Just remove these and the seat will come out.

sounds real easy either a bad idle air control solenoid or more likley a blown throttle body gasket. to test fro a blown gasket, with engine running and cool spray carb cleaner or brake cleaner around base of tb were it bolts to intake. when it hits the bad area, should idle down and be normal for a second or 2. iac is possible,try this first since its so common and let me know
