On the American versions, under the dash you will see the OBD2 data link. You can use a cheap scan-tool to pull generic codes but if the code/s are dealer specific then you will have no choice but to bring it to the dealer. There are a few Auto manufacturers that still have refused to allow others to get the tools needed to work on their vehicles. Such as SAAB, VOLVO, JAGUAR, LAND ROVER, and PORSCHE. Good luck.

The definition for fault code P1108 for your Saab is:
Charge air absolute pressure sensor circuit - short to B+.
This sensor is located on left pipe connection of charge air cooler.
Either you have a bad sensor or a short in the wiring and/or plug leading to the sensor. Hope this helps.
