SOURCE: My brake, slip and VDC indicators stay on.

Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed.

Also check for leaking rear axle seals. Look for oil on the inside of rear wheels.

2015 Nissan versa won't start has to be jumped off and then the slip indicator light stays on

The slip indicator light may be related to the weak battery, but it is more likely a separate issue under the abs module. A scan tool will be helpful in determining the root cause of the slip ind light that you see. :)

What does the service engine light mean on a 2015 Ford Edge

Service Engine Soon

If the Service Engine Soon indicator light stays lit after you've started the engine, the On Board Diagnostics system (OBD) has detected a malfunction of the vehicle emissions control system. Contact your authorized dealer as soon as possible.
If indicator light is blinking, an engine misfire may be occurring, which could damage your catalytic converter. Drive in a moderate fashion (avoid heavy acceleration and deceleration), and have your vehicle serviced immediately.*
The Service Engine Soon indicator light illuminates when the ignition is first turned on (prior to engine start) in order to test the bulb, as well as indicate whether the vehicle is ready for Inspection/Maintenance (I/M) testing.
Normally, the Service Engine Soon light will stay on until the engine is cranked, then turn itself off if no malfunctions are present. However, if after 15 seconds this light blinks eight times, it means that the vehicle is not ready for I/M testing.Check this link out Gary.

Will my engine management light stay on all time if my timing chain is slipping

Well the warning light is probably on because the cam timing is not right. So yes it will probably stay on until you get it fixed.

05 nissan titan engine starts but will not stay running and slip light stays on

I'll try, ???., clear any possible trouble codes from computer, check all fuses, if computer has any codes stored, retrieve them first. this may direct you in the right direction as to what your problem is. a parts store can do that for you if you can get it there. if not, try removing the negative battery terminal, for a few minutes, give 5 min., reinstall, then try to start. any luck ? you say your 'slip' light stays on , what sensor sends this info, wheel sensor ??? front or rear ?? why would this prevent your engine from running ? this would be rediculous ! maybe its something else, fuel pump ? sure your connection to new fuel pump is good? try this, with out starting engine, (have a helper) turn on key, donot start, have a helper do that, you go back to tank, (intank pump) listen for a hum, which only last for 2-3 seconds, upon your helper turning key to on position. listen closely, do this a couple times, do you hear a humming ? if yes, pump is working, if not, well there ya go. next, check fuel pump relay, fuse, most found in the engine compartmt. see if any of this helps, good luck, patience is a virtue !!!

2003 freightliner mt45 battery indicator stays on.

Put a volt meter across the battery and if it reads less than 13 volts then it has a problem. The system should be 13.5-14.5dc..... 15 volt max. If it reads low only that idle, the engine may be idling to low, the regulator is bad, the belt is slipping, or the system has to great a load on it while idling(to many lights and electronics). If it comes up over 13.5volts when the engine is revved up then the regulator/slipping belt/ or load is most likely the problem. If it does not come up to the voltages listed above then the regulator/alternator are faulty.

Check engine light came on and felt like the trans was slipping. also bas light stays on. gas indicator only works sometimes. center console lights don't work when headlights on. 2000 mercedes ml320

Do you have any codes for the check eng. light. I have seen the steering angle sensor on your model go bad which could cause the light to go on. The trans slipping could be your vehicle going into limp home mode because of the codes. Without running a quick test it's only a guess.
The problem with your gas indicator is the fuel pump, you will need to replace it. The card on the pump gets ruined from the sulphur in the fuel.
The problem with your lights could be the dimmer switch turned all the way down. Yes believe it or not this has happened.

Shaking with engine light and VSC Off lights turned on

If just found this on another forum:

A few days ago I started the Cruiser and had 4 indicators stay lit.
They were the CHECK ENGINE...SLIP INDICATOR..VSC TRAC..VSC OFF.
Didnt noticed any change in driving and 4-wheel drive is still working.
I removed the negative cable from the battery and the same indicator lights have NOT come back. Everything is back to normal as far as warning lights go. Should I take it in to the service center and have it checked.
Or should I wait to take it in, if it does it again?
