check all fuses under left dash if that doesn't work check to c if you are getting power on the injector plugs if you are getting power then go to a junk yard and get a throttle body
The fuel pump circuit and injector circuits are fed by two different fuses. The fuel pump relay and injectors are controlled by the computer. Have you checked both ECM fuses for power ?
Check fuel pressure. Have you replaced the fuel filter on schedule? Verify that the fuel pump is getting power. Power goes through an in-line fuse, then the fuel pump relay or the oil pressure sensor. (The relay bypasses the oil pressure sensor while the engine starts, but fuel pump power goes through the sensor during normal run operation. If you lose oil pressure, the fuel pump is shut off to protect the engine.) On four-cylinder models, the fuse is in the fuse block (E PUMP 10) The fuel injectors are connected to the ECM fuse on one side and straight to the engine computer on the other side. Check the connectors and wiring, especially at the injector.
YOU NEED NEW SPARK PLUGS AND WIRES.CLEAN THE FUEL INJECTORS.BUY A BOTTLE OF INJECTOR CLEANER POUR IN FUEL TANK OF GAS ALSO.CHANGE FUEL FILTER THIS LITTLE TUNE UP SHOULD HELP.
First thing to check is the timing. It may have jumped a cog, and is giving you all kinds of grief. Next, check for faulty spark plug wires, and or spark plugs. Change your air filter. Change ignition coils. Check tranny fluid level. Check egr. Check for intake vacuum leaks. If your car guy hasn't checked these things, or won't check them when you suggest them.. find a real car guy. Good luck. Let me know how you make out.
replace the accalerator pump in the carbrator this is located at the bottom of carb. or front above fuel filter! this should cure the hiccups and problem.
Have you checked for power going to the pump? If there is no power going to the pump it could be a fuse or relay. If there is power making it to the pump then the pump itself could be out. Can you hear the pump kick on when you turn the key on or when you crank it over (might need two people for that, one to crank engine while the other is under the vehicle and listens for the pump to come on)? If you have power to the pump and the pump does come on then you are probably looking at you injector pump being the problem. See if theres power getting to your injector pump, if not then it might be a fuse for the injector pump. If there is power to the injector pump then you may need to have it rebuilt or replace it. I hope this helps.
