i have a 2000 silverado and the windows usally go down fine. but when i roll them up i have to hit the button repeatally to get them to go up. this ison both windows. any suggestions

The switch itself may be faulty. Have you tested it with an ohmmeter? Have you tested power to the passenger switch with a voltmeter?

relays, wiring loom cut, if wired to alarm check the socket or bridge the connector to bypass, lastly there is a control unit if it's wet, it's not gonna work.

Curb side window will not work

first check fuse if good then check to see if there is power from the window switch. If yes then check window motor it's probley bad.If the motor runs then the regulater is shot.

Got new master switch,now windows work but window lock-out dosent

Could be when they replaced the master they didn't make sure your connectors whee all tight when they put it back together.

Or, you need a new switch therre as well.

Very hard to tell without having the vehicle right in fornt of me.

Does it have a lock out switch if so I had the same problem I fixed it with a spray of electrical contact cleaner in the lock out switch then worked the switch a couple times, the stuff works wonders

Power windows will not roll down or up

If your other switches don't work, and the master is not locked, you need a new master as it is keeping the others from working.

I had the same problem with now power to windows, mirrors and seat. The common soulution is the orange and or black wire in the boot have broken between the door and post.
