Wiring a ford explorer sport for a trailer

I can only assume your not the orignal owner/purchaser of this '99 Explorer, so im gonna say no if it doesnt have a factory trailer hitch and towing package. did you have an after market hitch installed on this truck? if not, please dont tell me you plan to use the "cheesy" factory drilled hole in the rear bumper (near/below the license plate area)? BAD IDEA if thats the case, the bumper brackets cant handle much of a load at all, bad idea for them to even put that stupid hole there to begin with. Also, if you see there isnt a "factory" harness, you can go to your local auto parts store and pick 1 up designed specifically for that vehicle within a range of model years sharing that same platform, eg. 1997-2001 model years may all use the same harness set. let me know how it turns out and if this even helped you in any way.
