Could be a fuel pump or a fuel regulator or a cam shaft belt broken or an immobiliser not operating or a flat key battery or an empty fuel tank or 100 other things. When you have a problem the first thing is to run the fault codes to get the recorded faults from the CPU and then you will know exactly in what areas you have to look. So run the fault codes and let us know what you find so that you can get advice on how to fix it.

yes the fuel pump is running, you know because when you put the key up and ready to start you can hear it. I know just what you are talking about I have had that same problem. It is about a $4,00 part should not be more then $10.00. So open the hood and then go to the fuse box you will want to change the fuel pump relay that is in the middle of power point and pcm power relay. Also there is another that has to do with the fuel and that is called fuel system this part is located on the right side of the fuse box and the other is on the left.
I hope that you have every thing work out for you please let me know what happens I hope it works out well.

if you can hear the pump working the first thing I would do is ask your self when was last time fuel filter was changed and you gave it a good tune up and replaced the drive belt

I do believe the FORD is located under ther hood either on the firewall or on L/S wheel housing. Have encountered many , many faulty control modules. There came a time if you came across a Ford product with a no start, you automatically suspected it, and 90% of the time you were right.

2001 ford ranger 4.0 6 cylinder wont start .. motor turns over ..not getting fuel..what are my options

Could be your fuel pump or another common problem is it could be a dirty or collapsed fuel filter in the gas tank. If it's an electric fuel pump check the fuse first.

How to tell if 1995 ra1 honda odyssey fuel pump working or not??

It sounds like there might be an air lock between the fuel pump and the carburetor. Disconnect the fuel line from the fuel pump at the carburetor. Get a coffee can or another container turn the fuel pump on or try and start the car. the fuel pump will pump fuel through the fuel line to fill it with fuel and push the air out of the line. When you get a steady stream of fuel , reconnect the fuel line to the carburetor, the car should start.

I have a 2004 grand am. the motor turns over but wont start. I changed the fuel pump, the ignition is good, fuses are all good but it will not start

first check the fuel filter. check before and after the filter if you get fuel before it then check after it, no fuel before go back to the pump. if you get fuel after then go to the fuel rail on the motor. open the line before the pressure regulator, if you get fuel then check after the regulator, if none after then the regulator is bad, if the regulator is vacuum assisted check your vacuum.

Car cranks but wont start

IF the motor is cranking, is it getting any fuel? When you turn your key on, do you hear the fuel pump kick on? Most cars today are fuel injected, and use an electric fuel pump. With another partner, have them stick their ear on the gas tank as you are turning the car on. You should hear some kind of pump, if not, your fuel pump may be dead.

Motor wont start

do you hear the fuel pump working? and did you check the fuses? also check and see if the fuel cut of switch is on. it was typically located in the trunk by the hinges that hold th trunk or on the side but look in your owners manuel or google it. i would guess fuel pump in honesty.
