thanks for responding bill. security code was my first suspect so i contacted my dodge dealer and they informed me that my model did not have a security code. i should have stated that in my previous post.

Replacing the battery is the same as having the radio stolen to the security in the radio so now you will need the security code for the radio before it will turn on again.

SOURCE: I had a loose post terminal on my battery, which

check to see if you can locate a fusible link wire. It is likely there is an open circuit or a short in the system.

SOURCE: Radio and power outlets have no power

you have a bad ground wire. run a jumper wire from the negative terminal on radio or power outlet to the door jam or any place where you can find a good ground and see if the component works

SOURCE: 2002 Dodge Durango turnsignals, radio, sunroof no longer operate

Sounds like the forward control module, sometimes referred as the body control module. Take it to the dealer.

SOURCE: Blower motor stopped working

most common is the blower motor resistor or "module" going out. but if you have 12volts to the resistor the motor should work on "HI" but not on any other speed. if it doesnt work at all, you might have a bad motor. just to be safe id replace both. neither one is too hard to replace. three 5/16" bolts for the motor and two 5/16" for the resistor they are both under the glove box

Loss of power to radio

You'll need to reset all the stations on your radio after a battery change.

After replacing battery in 2002 Toyota Sequoia, radio losses memory everytime vehicle is started. What is wrong?

The radio uses a constant power to retain memory(stations, settings, ect.) and switched power to run on. It sounds like there is a problem with the constant power connection. You can first check the fuse box for any blown fuses and replace any that are found. Also look around the battery for any wires with an inline fuse that could be broken. Try looking under the dash near the radio for any inline fuse holders that could have a blown fuse. You might need to pull the radio and start tracing the constant 12v power wire. First verify that it does have power and if it does then the radio may have been damaged from a voltage spike when the new battery was installed. If the wire does not have power then you will need to start tracing the wire back to the source of the short. It sounds to me like a blown fuse somewhere....

No ac or radio...

It s very possible you shorted somethings. But I would look closer at the fuses even if you dont see the tiny wire burned out just try changing them to make sure they are good, and go from there.

1992 960 volvo wagon 208k. Daughter left lights on drained battery - jump started and driving well, however stereo won't work now. Any ideas????

If it is a combined radio/stereo system the drained battery may have caused it to lose it's code - you will need to re-enter the radio code to make it work properly. This is similar to removing the battery from the car - you have to re-enter the radio code before the radio will work.

If there's no power at all to your stereo it's possible that jump-starting the car has caused a power surge that has blown a fuse. Depending on what type of radio/stereo is fitted, there usually is a small in-line fuse in the wiring at the rear of the unit. Check the fuse.
