Not being able to turn the steering wheel at all starts at the ignition lock locking the shaft under the steering wheel. Next if that is ok then it indicates a serious problem in the rack and pinion or the flexible joint to the rack/steering box. As this is a safety issue I would put it on a tilt tray and have a accredited steering repair shop investigate the problem. Check the power steering pump drive belt is still intact

SOURCE: The clock in my Volkswagen Touareg is wrong.

On your steering wheel there is a button bottom right it should look like two squares. That is the menu button. Scroll through the menu settings until Time appears. Push in on the thumb wheel above the menu button to select. After that roll the wheel up or down to adjust the time and press in when finished.

SOURCE: car steering wheel locked; car won't start

If this is a floor shifter or center console shifter there is actually a lock release next to the shifter. Look next to the shifter handle and you should see a small square plug in the console remove the plug and you will see a little white button in it this is the shifter release push it and you can move the shifter.

No crank,no start, key stuck

maybe the steering wheel is on the lock position and needs to be turned towards the left to unblock it first , then you can turn the key :)

I wants to know how you reset a vw touareg's clock on the dash

You need to press the clock button next to the tachometer gauge. The clock settings should come up on the MFI (multi-function indicator, located between the speedometer and the tachometer). Select your choice of settings using the thumb wheel on the steering wheel(hour, minute) and when done push the center confirm button on the thumb wheel to exit and confirm your settings.

Hi, i recently replaced both sides of the front suspension upper control arms for my 2006 VW Touareg 3.2 V6 which has air suspension. After collecting it from the repair shop and driving for about 10 mins,...

I would return to the repair shop and get them to plug into the OBD and check for fault codes that correspond to suspension, chances are this could be related to previous repair. But may just need the fault codes deleting

I have a touareg 2004 and my problem is that when steering to the max left or max right and drive slowly i feel vibration in the wheels ..is it a gear problem???

No, it's the CV joints on the axles. Check the boots at both ends of each axle for tears. If torn, the CV joints are probably worn out. If you have more questions, please reply.

If there is a phone button on your steering wheel you can add a Volk-l kit for about $500 if not you will have to add a hands free kit. The vehicle is not equiped phone bluetooth coneections and the kit just became available this year.
