do you know where is the knock sensor on a 2005 Honda accord coupe .... 2001-2005 Honda Civic Cam ...
Sounds like the forks release ams on pressure plate or release bearing b/o. In either case you have to remove tranny to repair, so you should replace clutch, pressure plate and release bearing. Especially if you have lots of mileage on vehicle.
the engine knocks or is it more like a thud? could be motor mounts and you are hearing your engine drop back into place when you release the accelerator petal... could also be bad gas or water in your gas
A sound like a old fishing boat is a Deisel, and your car isent a diesel IS IT
Iwould get it checked out at the local garage if I was you as it could be 1 of 6 things and i wouldent like to steer you up the wrong road when it could be something simple.
AND let me know please when you find out thank you [email protected]
I currently have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma, and the clutch pedal does not return all the way. I know it is not the clutch, it is actually the spring located underneath the pedal. It is catching and not releasing after pushed.... Hope it helps.
Manual transmissions do not slip ie. when the gears mesh, there is no slip unless they strip out and make an awful noise and will not pull henceforth.
You probably still have a slipping clutch plate against the flywheel. You need to adjust the clutch petal linkage shaft to allow the pressure plate to be release from the thrust bearing, ie shorten the shaft length.. If you and most likely you do just have the clutch release slave cylinder that releases the clutch when you apply the petal. You need to bleed the slave cylinder of any excess fluid or air that may have entered the line if you opened it at any point. You need to bleed it as you would a break cylinder and this should fix ya. good luck. good luck
what i find common is the parking brake handle slides up over time covering the release button and not allowing the park brake to go down. can you push the button with your fingertip while pulling up on the handle and release the park brake? if so you can tap the handle to the rear with out hitting the button. protect the button with a socket or use a block of wood next to the button. don't hit the button.
