I have a 2005 Ford F150 and the cigarette lighter doesn't work. I changed the fuse and it still doesn't work. IS there anything else I need to do?
You can buy a cheap test light for 2 or 3 dollars. hook the alligator clip
to a good body ground or better still hold it against the outer metal shell
of the lighter socket. Then put the pointy end into the center of the socket
The test light should light up. If it doesnt light, the plug on the back may
not be connected or an open circuit. If it does light you may have a defective
lighter element
The fuse is located in the car under the driver front panel
