Had a similar issue. The leak though, in front of the left-front tire was the windshield washer pump seal. Check to see if that fluid is washer fluid. If so, then thats likely the problem.
usaully located at the bottom of washer tank where you fill the window washer fluid some have fuses in the fuse box others the wires corrode or break at the pump or pump burnt
Is your wiper fluid level good?Look for leaks at pump,it's connected to container, also check your hoses leaving pump to windshield, could be loose or binding.
Make sure the pump isnt cracked sometimes they crack and leak. Also make sure that the hoses are ok Otherwise you need to replace the reservoir and pump.
first did you put the water in the wiper bottle or the radiator reservoir bottle ' next , plastic bottles crack easily with time and will leak as you go along
Is there any water in the plastic container? Also check if there is no leak around the pipe flow and also make sure water pump can be heard to pump water. It could also be a switch, loose or fuse problem.
