Toyota Camry 2007 Hybrid Ready Light is not ON Why?

the manual in the glove box says
IMMO is not happy.
and says get the car serviced.
and to try the 2nd key the car came with new.
if both keys fail only 2008 up and newer scan tool works. not $13 code readers only real tools.
we know you are DIY or wouldn't be here. so.?
some cars there is a IMMO reset.
this is covered in the service manual how.
IMMO is never fun for sure the old onces that failed
at any time battery is dead.(main)
NEVER ever connect the battery up backwards!!!!!!!
only older cars did that battery lame trick.
some like this,
install new huge 12vdc battery, never backwards
NEG lug on last.
key on for up to 10minute until the Immo lamp glows correctly then key off and key on and immo goes good fast. now crank
IMMO kills spark then fuel,. by design.

hint, never ever have just one working key.
then make a 3rd DIY if manual says you can
and in canada that is not allowed, USA yes on all my cars.OBD2 pins 6 and 14 are IT./


the online service manual shows huge list of DTC errors for IMMO, B27xx codes huge.
so i bet your scan to is not for modern can-bus toyota's all,
also some are the SMART KEY variant

IMMO punishment mode
if you make the IMMO think your are hacking it
it will brick PCM and up to 3 modules in the car
and only dealer can fix that.
the newer the car the more tricks like just above.
the scan tool must be CAN-bus certified.
2008 up mostly are.

one IMMO site for reset this car states

Check for the antitheft light on your dashboard, usually red or blue, then turn on the ignition to activate the car accessories rather than start the engine. Allow the key to rest in this position for 10-15 minutes, and recheck the antitheft light. If the light is not blinking, switch off the ignition and let it rest for around 3-minutes. The resting time makes the immobilizing system recognize your key and reset itself. Try and start your engine; if it does not start, repeat the process two more times.

and NOBRAINER, try key #2 (as car had day 1 new)

Have batteries checked as they are wired for high volage you should'nt try to do this unless you are trained, The voltages involved can kill you. he wires are all marked high voltage and if the system is run down lower than a certain level, it won'tgo. The owers manual has a resue feature so the car can ru in gas mode only but if any of the main relays got damaged and are staying on it'll still not run

when I turn on head light, dash board instrument come off, my Toyota camry 2009 4 cylinders, le.

the aux battery is bad its uder the hood the generator does start the gas engine but you left the dome light on or something like that it will not turn on or switch to ready mode

GO AFTER MAKET CHEAPER TO REPLACE

Normally, the bulbs are supposed to light up when starting; this is the "bulb-check" feature. I would not worry about it unless the light remains on while you are driving.

The low voltage accessory battery and high voltage hybrid drive battery are in the trunk area. If hit from behind the hybrid battery may have been damaged. The high voltage battery is the one that actually starts the car. This battery is too high voltage for a normal person to check. Call the dealer so they can get in the shop to fix with the right kind safety procedures.
