49 state only (Federal emissions only) vehicles have 2 oxygen sensors. California or Federal emissions vehicles certified to California emissions have 4 oxygen sensors. Two on each bank, one before each catalytic converter, and one after.

I have a montero sport 2001,and the check engine light came on ,I took it to auto zone they toll me to change the oxigen sensor, which I did four of them ,and the light still on after resting for about four...

Well, for starters they should have never told you to change the oxygen sensors. The codes they pull are only a guide and it is up tp a tech to find the underlying problem. It sounds like you have a catalytic convertor issue.

How do you change the O2 sensors?

The oxygen sensors, or O2 sensors, on a Mitsubishi Montero Sport are located under the vehicle. Models made prior to 1996 had only one sensor which was located on the catalytic converter, behind the exhaust manifold. Newer models have additional sensors located on the left and right sides of the manifold.

Check the wires from the electronic sensor on the tailshaft of the gearbox, These sensors are usually the problem, broken wire, blown sender, sheered gear.
