SOURCE: 1991 Dodge Dakota v-8 would not start...

Not good...you did more than I would have done...sounds like its time to take it to a qualified repairman and have him diagnose the problem(s).

SOURCE: Turns over good but wont

Check for spark-if you have a tachometer, see if when you crank it the tach needle moves-if not, you probably need a crank sensor, which are not too expensive or difficult to replace.

SOURCE: Just bought a 1993 Dodge

My money says it is the ECU (engine control unit) early 90's Mitsubishi's are known for poor capacitors in their ECUs. If the car is not starting, if it has spark but no fuel my first money is that of the ECU. If it has fuel but no spark I expect something within the electronics.

Is this engine the SOHC or DOHC.

If you need to replace the ECU there is a MD number you need to use to match the proper unit. The ECU is located under the stereo, remove the two interior flaps (carpet strips) that cover the shifter are. The ECU has 3 large electical plugs, remove these and unbolt the (3) 10MM bolts to get the ECU out

I have owned and replace three Mitsubishi veichles with bad ECU, one of which is my son's 93 Dodge Stealth with 3.0 SOHC.

Please let me know if this had assisted you.

Thanks,
Tom

SOURCE: i have a 1991 d150 318 that wont start.

Have you tried using WD-40 as a quick start, spray in to air intake at throttle body and see if it tries to fire up?

Why wont my '74 f350 stay running?

Check your timing. Your timing chain may have "jumped". They usually do that as you are shutting the vehicle off. Turn the engine over until the timing mark on the crank is at 0 on the pointer. Pull the distributor cap and see where the rotor is pointed. It should be on #1. If it is a long way off, like on the other side then rotate the engine 1 complete turn and check then.

My car wont start engine turns over but doesnt start like ist recieving no gas

Considering it ran fine after pump replacement for awhile then it is probably a fuel issue. Couple things it could be. 1. you could have a ton of sediment in gas tank and it keeps clogging up your pump. 2. you could have blocked fuel filter and or clogged injectors.

Car wont start. took a fuel injector out and put the same one right back in and it ran for 2 days fine now wont start again, what is the problem?

A possible fuel pump pressure issue. You will need to have a garage check the fuel line pressure. The engine requires more fuel on cold start and a failing pump may not be able to cope with supply. This may also be apparent at high revs, but not as apparent as cold start.

1988 ford e150 starts but misses and when gas pedel pressed stalls

you need to open up the throttle body and clean out the jets. if been stud for awhile you get a fuel build up as it evaporates, turns into like a dust this blocks the jets. as it gets sticky from new fuel. every time you drop the fuel pressure you are making it sick back down. then driving you are pulling it back up.

The fuel pump was changed on my 87 toyota camry the car ran good for a couple days and than it just turned off it turned over but wouldn't start than after a couple hours it started. than a couple

Sounds as if you may have a relay getting to hot and not woriking until it cools down. Below is a diagram of the relay box under the hood of the vehicle. The relay marked "EFI MAIN RELAY" could be the problem. When the vehicle is NOT starting, have someone try and start the vehicle. As they are turning the key put your finger on that relay. You should feel it "click" as it is engaging (can't spell). If you don't feel anything like a "click" going on, then that means the relay is not working. This is saying that the problem is fuel related. It could be many other things but since you said you were having fuel problems then I would starthere. You may even want to gently tap on that relay as well to see if that kind of loosens it to begin woroking again. Below is a diagram of that box for you.

Two months ago, after a couple of days of being parked, my 92 240 wouldn't start. my mechanic ran a diagnostic and ended up changing the spark plugs. come today, and again after sitting for a couple of...

About the only thing within time that can change from sitting that would effect starting performance is the fuel. The fuel is probably evaporating from your lines and other areas of the system.
Try turning the key to start with a pause till you hear the fuel pump stop, THEN turn it to run.

Have you checked that you have power to the coil on cranking? You may also want to check wether you have a good strong spark at the spark plug.It could be an ignition module breaking down.If you have no power to the coil you may need to change the ignition relay. Its close to the battery.
