I have a 2001 chevy tracker and my problem is that when it gets warm and you cut it off it will not start back until you give it time to cool off. It has a 2.0 engine and it is 4-wheel drive.Could it be that my coil pack is going bad. Also sometimes when you take off it fells like you have no power to go.
You are more than likely correct about the coil pack. A lot of times, especially in warmer weather, this happens as coil packs start to go bad. What happens, is as they start to fail, they get too hot and won't function properly so when you are waiting 20 to get the car started again it is giving it time to cool back down. Take it to your local auto parts store and let them test it. That should be your problem and will be an easy fix for you. Good job with the diagnosis. Thanks for rating my response and for using FixYa!
I am 100% sure it is your camshaft sensor. I had the exact same problem on my 2001 chevy tracker 4 wheel drive.
