2003 Envoy electrical

Just purchased a 2003 Envoy. Everything was fine; however, I did notice that the sound that it makes when the key is in the ignition and the door open did not go away even when I took the key out. Drove it this morning - everything fine (except that key problem). Just got in it to go somewhere, auto door open worked, put down driver's window. However, when I started it the check gauges light came on (car started fine) and didn't go off; battery signal lit; gauges would not work and now I can't get the window up or lock the car. Any suggetions? Help? Thanks.

Try disconnecting the battery for 10 -15 minutes. Make sure all functions are turned off first, such as HVAC (all switches CCW or off), radio off.

Would a dead battery stop your key from turning on in a 2003 gmc envoy

Sounds like a flat battery. Just enough to power your lights but not enough to power the starter motor. Try recharging the battery.and check battery connections are good.

I have a 2002 Envoy. The blower motor sporatically will not start. When it does run the speed adjusts fine and everything works as expected. I think there may be a dead spot in the motor winding but...

when it does not work, rap on the motor, it that gets it going, repalce it. if not, gently turn the ignition key and see if that affects it, the ignition switch could have a bad contact.

I am getting a sqeaking (high pitched) sound coming from my front end, most noticably during right turns. I have a 2003 Envoy, XLE.

May be the squeal indicator hitting the brake rotor in which you may need brakes or a backing plate rubbing on the brake rotor.

Changed battery now loss of rpm when ac is on

Check your Belt Tensioner. If the Tensioner is Not Keeping the Belt Tight Enough It will not allow the Alternator to Charge the Battery and it will cause a Battery Drain and will Pull on the Electrical System. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!
