07chevrolet silverado speakers not working. tweeters in the front work & right rear passenger work, but none of the rest work. On rare occasions they will all work, but when vehicle is turned off and back on they are not working again.

It should be behind the glove compartment against the right side of the dash.

A bad connection at the speaker or the unit could be a problem. Burned out amp section as well.

check you haven't got the wires on the back of the tweeter touching, Then check the rest of the wiring you may have touched. Jon

On my 99 4 door the factory amp is powered by a hot pink wire in the truck harness. I hooked the cont. power for a motorized ant. to it and all 4 speakers work. I'm going to check today to see if they work correctly because I found this out late last night and only had it on for a few minutes. I've read that there is a harness for this that apparently you have to specifically ask for at a car audio shop. hope this helps.
