Question about 1999 Honda CR-V
I need a copy of the pinout diagram of ecu p83 about 1999 Honda CR-V.
SOURCE: 92 Honda Accord Cranks Fine
The problem is with the main relay that controls the ignition system and the fuel pump. Over time the circuit board in the main relay cracks from drying out. the main relay is located under the instrument panel on the left side of the steering wheel, approximately behind the coin tray.
the problem is that when the car is parked in the sun or on days with a high outside temperature the interior temperature of the car rises high enough to cause the cracks in the circuit board for the relay to open. When the cracks open up you lose contact in the circuits that go through that part of the board. depending on where the cracks are you either lose the fuel pump or the spark when this happens. So the engine will crank like crazy but not start.
if you leave the doors of the car open eventually the interior temps will drop and the circuit board will contract and the circuits will make contact again to allow you to start the car.
The main relay is only available from Honda dealers. The part is about $50.

SOURCE: Still cant find ECU
Please try to locate the ECU--- The ECU can be located in several places: under a metal plate in the passenger's footwell (models up to 91), in the passenger's footwell behind a plastic panel (models 92-99) or by the driver's footwell under a plastic panel (some models 2000+)
