If you're finding
it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that has very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime. www.reliable-store.com

SOURCE: anti theft light blinking on stock radio in 92 honda accord

You must go through your local honda dealer, (usually parts department) give them the numbers off the labels on the radio, along with the VIN number of the car. may have to prove ownership. They can call Honda and get that information for you. Process is alot easier if you someone that works in the parts department, if not the honda parts department, then another parts department at another car dealer.

SOURCE: 2003 Honda Accord. Dies when I try to put it in drive

you are having a problem with your alternator. the battery has a main purpose to start the vehicle, keep computer memory, and give power to electrical components when the key is in the on position. the alternator charges the battery and gives power to electrical components when the vehicle is running. now when you hit the brakes there was an extra load added to the alternator and if the car died then the alternator is running very weak and needs to be relace.

SOURCE: 06 honda accord won't start

correct, may be a bad starter, start there. test for power at small wire at rear of starter if theres power when key is held in crank position then replace the starter also make sure battery connectoins are clean and thight, good luck hope this helps.

98.3hombre battery went dead after a jump it wont start

double posted, why?
JUMPS OK
AFTER JUMP WORKS AND DRIVING, AND STOP AND KEY OFF
IT WILL NOT CRANK.
did i guess right?
that means ,
check all fuses first. even the alt fuse (large)
1-battery bad? #1 top failure all cars.
2-Charge system bad. (is the charge/ batt warn lamp glowing when running car, bingo.????

3-or phantom drains. (if no crank just after stall then it not this) if drains while sleeping yes.

the tests are easy, a dirt cheap voltmeter
13.3v to 15v running is good charge system.
if 12v and falling not.

if the battery is bad, the charge system can shut down, so, the best practice is to try a know
good battery out of 2nd car, do you have battery to barrow, this is TOP CHOICE< not thinner wallet.

if the good battery fails then the charge system is failing (note I said system and not a part)
or the belt missing or slipping to the alternator.

btw the 4.3L PCM runs the alternator
PCM is engine brain.
btww, same true 2.2l engine.
the regulator is in the PCM.

so is the charge/bat lamp in cluster
on key on, lamp test
the jump start it , it runs
does the charge./batt.lamp go out.
id be all over that lamp, costs nothing to look.

Need code to get my stock radio to work again in my 92 honda accord

Take it to your local dealer and give them the vin number and they can look it up for you or you can call them but they prefer you bring it in so they know it's not stolen.

My Car Will Not turn Over

Sounds like you just need a jump. if that doesnt work and the battery is fully charged then you need to disconnect the wires from the battery and clean the cable hookups and the battery terminals. You can go to a auto parts store and get a terminal wire brush cleaner. Wire brush the terminals and the hookup till all the corrosion is off and then put some vasaline on the terminals and hookups to prevent corrosion later. Hook you battery back up and see if it will start.
