There are two small yellow light bulbs and two rounded larger yellow bulbs. Are you referring to the smaller ones?

Well I turned on my parking lights and all 4 yellow lights ( the 2 little and the 2 larger ones) came on. What do I call the little ones in order to get replacement bulbs?

  • pjbanshee_47 May 19, 2009

They are between the headlight and the 2 larger yellow ones. They are closer to the middle of the car.

If you turn the headlight switch to the first "click" the parking lights will be on and the headlights will not. Then walk around the car and you will now know where the parking lights are. Hope this is helpful.

Do as jg1523 said and turn the hadlight switch to the first click and the lights that are on are the parking lights.

They would probably call it a side marker light.  This should do it for you.  Hope it helps.  Please adjust rating if you see fit.

Sonata tail light socket melted. attempting to replace with after market socket. red, green and black coming form vehicle.

If you have a test light or voltmeter, turn park lights on and find the one wire on vehicle that is hot-it will almost surely be red or green, as the black is surely the ground wire. Now on the new socket, you need to know this: If those bulbs are two filament bulbs (one filament for park lights, and the other filament for brake or turn or both) the brake light and the turn light will be brighter than the park lights. You can tell the difference in brightness, and the brake lights are always brighter than the tail (or park) lights.
How many bulbs are on this socket? Do you have 2-filamet bulbs or just one filament bulbs? Maybe you can figure it out by looking at the other side, see how or which lights are for tails and which for brakes.

How do I get left hand park lights and dash lights to work.

Your left hand park light needs a new bulb. If I knew what year car I could tell you which bulb, 1156 or 1157 bulb on older cars, on newer ones ??? There are a lot of them but it is bulb.

Instrument cluster is a blown fuse in your fuse box, most likely 15 or 20 amp. Replace.

Hope this helps Mike

2000 Chevy Silverado parking lights stay on. Will not shut off

Are all parking lights on or just front daytime running lights only? Either case sounds like a light control module in your fuse panel stuck.

Parking lights dont work

Your parking light and turn signal/brake lights are actually separate but in the same bulb. 2 elements in one bulb. Replace bulb with the same type and that should solve your problem.

Parking and backup lights quit working.everything else works including instrument lights.checked fuses and parking light relay both are good. Can someone please come up with a suggestion.

Try checking out your light bulbs in parking and backup light locations. Sometimes when one bulb goes out or just comes loose, it stops the entire circuit from operating.

Brake and park light are out

the mechanic should check on the loose connection wires ,then check the fuses.and the brake light bulb. and the park light bulb. You have said that the other lights are ok then it must be the loose wires or the bulb.but still check on the fuses for to be sure .

98 Dodge Durango parking lights don't work!

sounds like you could have a loose connection somewhere in the wiring at the parking lights.. check the blub housing to make sure all the tabs to hold the bulb are there,,, wiggle the wires a little and see if they are broken loose... also check the grounds... see if any are loose or broken..
