My 1993 Honda Civic LX will not start. I've changed the fuel pump and the fuel relay switch and it still won't start. Is there an inertia switch that needs to be reset?

the basics are fuel air and spark, so check for spark by removing a plug wire and laying it on your engine close to bare metal and crank it , you should hear a nice snapping noise, if you have spark then youll need to go over the fuel system, there is an inertia switch located in the trunk i believe

My 1993 honda civic will not start and its getting plently of juice from the battery and i thinking it has to do with the remote for the anti theft alarlm?

Pull a spark plug and see if you are getting spark if not it is probably your coil pack on the distributor. Common prob with civics.

How do i change the spark plugs on a 1993 honda civic lx

You'll need a feeler gauge, a 5/8th inch socket and at least a 6 inch extension, a rachet, and an extendable magnet. Remove 1 spark plug wire boot, try turning or twisting to boot to disconnect. Remove the plug, use the magnet to get the plug out once it is unscrewed. Some spark plug sockets have a rubber peice that helps hold on to the plug when removing.

Fuse Box Location

"The underhood fuse box is located in the engine compartment next to the battery." That's what it says in my Honda Civic manual, it should be next to the battery if you have a stock 1.6L 4-Cylinder engine that Honda made, mine's a D16Z6 engine. If you find it just pull the tab up.

try changing the main relay under the dash

No spark is not caused by any security wire to the distributor ( there is no such sytem), it is caused by a defective ignition control module in this year, replace it.

yes the pick up can be the problem, does the coil negative pulse? also there are issues with the electrical ignition switch, they have internal contact problems. as a note in the future please list any parts u have replaced, i can assist u better this way.
