Front Fan heat blower in 2001 T&C, often will not start when I start the car in cold weather. It may start suddenly working after car is running for 30 minutes or longer. Rear blower works fine, and blows hot air. What can be the problem? (I have noticed the knob is a bit erratic and hard to maneuver).
Also try spaying contact cleaner down by knob shaft and turning it or sliding back and forth several times to see if it works,if it does you need a new switch, if not a new motor will do the job.
Most likely the motor is going bad, but it could be the switch. If fiddling with the switch will make it work sometimes, replace the control panel. Otherwise, replace the motor.

Notorious for plugged heater cores. Also updated plastic restriction couplers mounted at heater core available from dealer. Try back flushing heater core. Run engine till its at operating temperature then carefully hold the inlet and outlet hose breifly with heater fan on high if hoses are nearly the same temp then flow is good , if not then core is plugged.

check you antifreeze level and make sure its full

Probably one of two things. First make sure that your coolant level is full. If the coolant is not flowing properly you won't get heat. If you begin to get heat while driving, but only when you are excelerating, this is your problem. If that is not it you may need to change the thermostat. This is noot hard as long as it is easy to get to and it should be easy.

ok, missed the part about the rear ac working, the part that causes this is called the air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is an electric motor driven gear drive that moves the plastic door inside the air ducking to mix or shut off the hot or cold air from the ac evaporator core or the heater core, you will need to replace it.
Testimonial: "Great thanks that could be my problem. Is the motor by the inside coil"
