I put an new fuel pump and fuel filter in my 2001 Chevy Tahoe but there is no power going to the fuel pump. I have checked all fuses and relays that I know of, and I have tested the connection that goes into the fuel pump and there is no power in the wires themselves and yes the ignition was turned to accessories, don't know what else to do, did I over look something?
Hi the ignition was turned to the acces. possition
it needs to be turned to the RUN possition.there is no power to the fuel pump only in the CRANK and RUN possition
then if there is still no power there then you need to trace the wiring
hope this helps

Hello. Yes, your Chevrolet's security system will 'shut-down' the ignition system; causing your truck to start but stop instantly. The truck 'thinks' it is being 'stolen' and will 'enable' it's security system to 'hamper' stealing it. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.
the fuel filter is located down under the middle of the frame rail, on the drivers side, remove the lines from the filter, look out b/c some fuel will come out after diconecting the line. replace with the new filter make sure you get the "FLOW" "should be marked on the filter" pointing to the front of the car
Sorry there is no fuel pump reset on the Tahoe. If you have no fuel pressure, check the fuses and relay, and wire harness to the fuel pump from the inside frame rail on the drivers side.
If you can hear the fuel pump working, check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve and there should be 60 to 66 PSI, if you don't you can try checking for 12 volt at the fuel pump wire harness at the frame rail.
Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.
could be as simple as a dirty fuel filter. or maybe the fuel pump has died..i will go with the fuel filter since you were able to get it started again.. also when replacing your fuel filter you should go ahead and get new plugs and wires.. a small tune up wouldnt hurt and would only set you back 100.00 dollers maybe.. hope this helps
replace your MAP sensor(manifold absolute pressure) the map sensor is the computer for your fuel pressure regulator telling how much pressure. Unless your tahoe runs like **** going up hill than it inevitably your fuel pump
