How do i remove the speedometer gauge off my 84 el camino

Like above u have to remove the dash board cover and then reach behind where the speeometer cable is and then there is a tab u need to pull it twoard u when u r in the driver seat and it should just pop off

    there is no dash board cover and how do u feed the cable back thru once u removed the old one?

You have to take off you dash board cover, un-screw it and screw it back in the same exact way as you removed it.

not too bat you just unscrew the faceplate that covers the dashes, unbolt the gauge cluster then u can get at them.
