SOURCE: Oil Pan Gasket
the oil pump is in the oil pan attached to the block. there for you have to raise the engine so you can see the oil pump and get the gasket under it to get it to slide into place. my suggestion is to raise the engine and replace the gasket
SOURCE: change oil pan gasket
This Is A Fairly SIMPLE Procedure The IMPORTANT Thing is To Use Generous Amount of Sealant and Allow Plenty of TIME for Sealant to CURE After Pan is On and Tightened Over Night At Liest

SOURCE: oil pan gasket
if you like spending a lot of time under the car. Also determine if you can easily slip the pan off or if you have to remove suspension components. I'd have a shop do it.
SOURCE: have a serious oil leak.
I have a 96 grand caravan and had the same problem which was caused by a leaking inner axle shaft seal
SOURCE: have an oil leak from somewhere under the engine.
check the oil pressure sending unit, clean engine then look to see where it is leaking, could be oil sending unit, dist drive seal or engine rear main.Need to determine wich side of engine.
