Leak detection pump solenoid circuit. Your best bet is to have a shop good with scan tool or dealer diagnose it & repair it. It's part of the evporative/emission control circuit.

Your check engine light must be on. To pull up your codes Put your key into ignition and turn key ON,OFF,ON,OFF and finally ON.The codes will show on your dash. From what you described it seems to me you may have a bad CRANKSHAFT SENSOR and MAF SENSOR. GOOD LUCK FRIEND.

1999 plynouth grand voyager was coding egr replace

just because the check engine light is back on, it doesn't necessarily mean it is for the same problem. it could be, but would need to pull codes again to find out what its for. literally hundreds of different codes could turn on check engine light. also, was original code for "insufficient egr flow" or "excessive egr flow"? it makes a difference.

HELP! Problems on my 1997 Grand Caravan P1698, P0138, P0140

you need to go over your entire wiring harness, under the hood and inside the dash. Start with the ground wire on the battery and work your way inside. It sounds like there is a loose ground wire somewhere

2001 dodge neon check engine lite is on code 1495 showing

P1495 Leak Detection Pump Solenoid Circuit Open Or Shorted
Code P1495 is for the LDP solenoid circuit. (LDP-Leak Detection Pump). This is a system that seals off the evaporative system of the car and then pressurizes it with the LDP. The computer looks to see how long it takes to pressurize the system, (depending on fuel level) and then determines if the system is leaking. Emissions regulations require this to cut down on fuel vapours from escaping to the atmosphere. You will likely have to get a dealer to diagnose this, unless you can find a shop that has a manual and DRB scan tool.

96 Plymouth Grand Voyager

It is an emissions problem. Or sensor problem. Take it for a trouble code scan at Autozone or similar store . They will do a scan for free. You may need to replace the catalytic converter. That cherry red pipe sounds serious.it should not be like that at all.

1997 dodge caravan p 1495 code

if I am not mistaken that is the code for the engine temp sensor, it kind of works as a choke, it tell the computer the ngine temp so it can lean out the fuel mix. I think the code says engine is taking too long to warm up. A faulty sensor will read -40 C all the time
