I'm thinking your power steering rack needs servicing! may be air in the hydraulic lines. did it start right after you replaced the pump? did you run the fluid resivour dry by any chance?
If you let go of steering wheel and step on brakes does the wheel vibrate?
I'd say its either warped rotors, power steering malfunction, or possible wheel bearing, although if wheel bearing you should feel/hear a hum which would get louder depending on which way you turn the vehicle.
may be you should
make a diagnostic and you can do it in a garage or you can do it by yourself
if you want to do it by yourself you need
some tools
and you can find some good ones here: spobd2.com
the power steering and bering are 2 seprate issues just be sure its not your rack and pionion that did not go bad as the inner tierod is connected the the rack and the power steering pump if the seals go out on the rack it can cause your power steering to go out and can also make the inner tierod loose wich can make a wheel vibrate. hope this helps
iam am no doubt totally wrong here ,but i would first of all check the power steering fluid level ,then turn steering from left to right with engine running and check the fluid level again
you have to bleed the power steering system. you have someone turn the wheels to the left while you watch the power steering fluid level adding as needed. than repeat turning the wheels to the right. and repeat until the noise seems to get quieter and you don't have to ad any more fluid.
