1998 Lincoln mark VIII alarm problem. After parking car and setting the alarm with the remote. During the night the alarm will go off by itself. I had battery changed but still have the problem. I also had the ant-theft Control Switch (PiN) disconnected (part # 19A434). Doing that lasted for just shy of 24 hours when the alarm went off by itself again.

ive tried turning the ignition on and off three times or so....then turning it off completetly for about five secs and then turning the ignition all the way on and most of the time it starts up....but sumtimes i think this car has a mind of its own......

Check your power to your fuel pump. Put your ear to the filler for the gas and get someone to turn on the key, do not crank.. You should here the fuel pump cut on. If not suspect pump problem. You can also take the lin loose at the fuel filter and check to see if gas comes out after key is turned on and work your way to the engine if you get gas there just follow the lines.

Im sure it will be expensive ,,All cars will resort back to the base brake system, just like a car that didn't have abs so it should be ok as long as there are no fluid leaks in the brake system.
