SOURCE: 2003 YUKONXL 2ND SEAT DOES NOT SLIDE ON TRACK,

It sounds like one or more of the release cables came undone from your lever. Lift the lever, inspect all around it, look under the seat where the track is. There should be a small round cable that runs from your handle down to the release. Also there may be a thin wire that runs from the left side to the right side. If you find it and reconnect it you should be golden.

3rd row, you simply pull the lever which makes the back fold down and then grip the handle located on the bottom and pull toward you slightly hard. They are heavy so it seems like they aren't coming out, just pull hard. second row, you flip all the way up and push with them standing up and they come unhooked. Good Luck! I didn't have any problems, except they are at least 50+lbs!

try to look under it for the cheap *** piece of wire or spring they use to connect the lock levers to the handle.

2005 gmc yukon third row latch #1 stuck
There is a cable that connects the handle to the latch, the cables like to break/stretch, sometimes if you look close at the rear of the seat where it attaches to the floor you can see the latch and manually release it with a long screw driver or similar tool.
Cables are avaiable from GM dealer if thats the problem.

Jus t purchased a used 2003 yukon xl and trying to find out how to fold the 2nd row seat down cannot find a lever on the one side
The passenger side 2nd row release lever is at the lower right corner. On the driver side, there is no release lever, just a pull ******** the center of the seat, that sometimes falls between the seat.

How do i let down the rear seats in 2003 gmc yukon xL
FYI- I'm taking a shot at this one based on my 2003 Montana so take it for what it's worth.
My van seats have a very small level on the drivers side of each seat. Pushing the lever down allows the seats to fold down while pulling the lever up allows them to recline. There is also a small ******** the back side of each seat which when pulled allows them to be folded down.
Hopefully your 2003 Yukon seats are similar to my 2003 Montana seats and this will work for you

How do you remove the rear seat out of a 2001 Ford Excursion
If you are talking about the third row seat, the first step is to fold the seat down. Pull the lever behind the passenger side of the third row seat and fold the seat down. Then, from the cargo area, raise the bar located directly behind the third row seat and lift the seat forward. The seat should now be detached from the car and can be removed. When you reinstall the seat, be sure to secure the seat properly so passengers do not get injured in a sudden vehicle maneuver. This should help you to fix your problem. by the picture it looks like a 2000 to 2004 yukon.
im assuming you are talking about the 3rd row seat?
if so yes it comes out, the instructions are numbered on the seat, 1, 2 3.
if you are talking about the rear seat, inline with the rear doors, they do not come out, only fold down

remove seat cusion to see if soemthing is stuck. see owner manual for directions. here's explorer
