All electrical is working but car won't start unless i jiggle gear lever

SOURCE: won't start unless you jiggle the shifter lever

You either have a neutral safety switch that is going bad or isn't properly adjusted. Switch is on the transmission just under where the shift cable attaches.

SOURCE: gear shift lever moves but

The shift solenoid is stuck. The lever is moving, but its not making the gears to shift.First check the shift solenoid, if its stuck / worn out cracked.It has to be replaced.Also check the brake light switch. The brake light switch has alot to do with being able to shift from park since the sensor sends a signal telling the system that the brake pedal is being pressed and to allow you to shift from park. -- There is a small cable attached to the ignition switch that unblocks the gear shift. When this cable gets loose or broken it does not unblock the gear shift, causing it to get stuck.--- Checkout, this should help.Keep updated.Thanks.Helpmech.

Your fan or heater likely shorted out and burned up, causing your one of the main fuses to blow due to the spike in current. You will need to determine what burnt up and replace it before replacing the fuse, or you may create a fire hazard or cause further equipment damage. Also double check any changes to wiring to make sure that everything is hooked up properly.

Sounds like u need to adjust the shift linkage or replace neutral saftey switch.

SOURCE: my car will not go into gear unless its started

Your transaxle will have to come out & new parts installed,
like synchro rings

You should be able to push in the clutch & shift thru all
gears nice & smooth,with no engine running.

That said I wouldn't rule out clutch issues also,but not
for the shifting issues.
