I have had my oil changed several times, but can't seem to get the light to go off.
If you are getting an Maintenance Oil light then that is a reminder to have your oil changed...You will need to reset the mainteince light.
To reset "Maint. Notice" on the display, turn the ignition key on (do not start)...with engine off. select the "Maintenance Schedule' key by using the button to right or left. Using the button select the "Reset" key and push the "Enter" button. This should be outlined in your in owners manual as well. The oil pressure or low oil light looks like a little genie oil lamp. The Maint. Tire is the same concept, it's a reminder to check your tires pressure or do a rotation on them.
I hope this helps.
Tericrable that is the worst advice i've seen ANYBODY give in this forum. Those awareness and warning lights come on for a reason, if disconecting the battery would correct it why would anyone ever need any repairs or maintenance performed on their vehicles? Why would the car manufacturers install On Board Diagnostics? Your advice is absolute nonsense that might have worked 20 plus years ago as a temporary or quick "fix" to get a service engine soon light to momentarily go out, and why remove BOTH cables? LOL,,,This is a new vehicle, please get with the program and stop misleading the public.

This is just like your check engine light that stays on.. Disconnect the positive and negative cable to your battery for a bit and the reconnect and it should trip it out of the error.
SOURCE: various lights on dashboard are flashing. Help please?
Did you check the oil now is it basically full? Sounds like traction control but def check oil
Testimonial: "Is there a way to check the VDC/slip light to see if it is a real problem. Oil/filter changed about 3 months ago. This is the order this mess has a happening: 1. VDC Slip light flashes (and still does). 2. Car passes inspection except we had to buy a new fuel filter cap. 4. Engine light came on, then went off. 5. Now the oil light is on. Help.....some more??? thanks"
