I have a 1990 Jeeep Grand Wagoneer that has a fuel an engine temp

I have a 1990 Jeeep Grand Wagoneer that has a fuel gauge and engine temp problem. The fuel gauge will go up when the jeep starts but I have driven it awhile and it hasn't dropped from the full mark. My emgine temp stays under 100'F on the gauge and wont go over a hundred even tho its hotter than one hundred. NEED HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be a bad dash ground, but I'm leaning towards that you have two separate issues. Check to see if there is a thermostat installed and working...if so, change the sending unit. Fuel gauge could be a number of things, likely the sending unit (part of pump assembly) may be stuck or damaged.

Sending unit for the fuel gauge is not grounding correctly or is bad. Temp sensor needs to be replaced.

86 grand wagoneer with 360 runs fine until engine gets to normal temp then dies

You'll need to figure out if you are loosing fuel or spark to proceed. it could be a relay or several other components.

Is their any one else out their that can tell me anything else about a 1990 Jeep grand Wagoneer, are the good to have are bad to keep. hope its all good.

I've had my 1990 Wagoneer since 2007, it was an old "City Park Vehicle" so it was kept in good condition until I bought it. I ran the poor thing practically into the ground and it still runs great!

1990 Jeep grand Wagoneer i ran out of gas, when i put gas in in the jeep the truck try to start but start draging then just did nothing,i try to jump it and steel nothing but just a clicking sound

by running out any debris in your tank will get sucked into your fuel pump. REplacing the fuel pump usually means removing the tank. You can try replacing the fuel filter first its much easier and cheaper. The filter is attached to your fuel line between the tank and the engine, usually in the frame. TAkes about 15 minutes to replace.

I have a 1990 Jeep grand Wagoneer can you please tell me were to find it on my car

The starter is going to be at the back of the engine, near where it connects to the tranny, no matter wht engine you have. It must be in a possition to engage the fly wheel to start the car. But know what engine would be helpful in narrowing it down.

I have 1990 grand wagoneer that drags when trying to start

If your battery is fully charged and all connections (both + and -) are clean and secure, put a volt meter across the battery and crank the engine. If volts drop below 9.5, replace the starter.

I have a 1990 Jeep Grand Wagoneer that run hot when the truck is park are not moving so please

first check thermostat. when jeep is cold take out thermostat and see if you can move any parts . It might be frozen , if its good, then your fan is not providing enough cooling through the radiator to cool engine. if the fan is working properly, then your radiator fins are clogged and u need a through flushing.

How to check if fuel sending unit is bad on a 1990 jeep grand wagoneer and where the sending unit is at

the sending unit is no more than a variable resistor, u test it with an Ohm meter, the reading should move from either high to low ohms or low to high ohms, your gauge will most likely read empty if the sender is defective, while a GM car will read full. The sending unit is located in the fuel tank.
