Need more info, what year, make, model, engineering. just because the owners manual says.there is a block heater, that doesn't mean you have one look around, try to find a short power cord that you would plug into a extension cord, also look at the engine block, look.at all your freeze plugs, this is where most block heaters go, if you do not see anything in.any of the freeze plugs, then.you do not have one the other kind of engine heater, would be in the top or bottom radiator hoses, or even.heat core hoses, again.there would be.a.cord.to.plug into. most of the time, they would pull the cord up to the front, by the grill, so you can plug it in

SOURCE: Cant find location of Block hearter cord on 99 Chrysler

usually it is routed out near the headlight.... there is a good chance tho that vehicle doesn't have a block heater. look at the sides of the motor for round metal shaped plugs in the block (frost plugs) do you see any with an electrical fitting ?

I have a Mazda CX7 2007 GT, I have a block heater in the car but the cord was pulled off when I drove with it still plugged in. I need to know where the block heater is so I can get a new cord.

There aren't many places to fit a cooling system heater in a stock engine, the classic method of fitting an aftermarket heater for cold climates is in a modified bottom radiator hose.

Block heater

First of all, are you sure that it has a block heater?? Not all vehicles do. If it does, and it's never been used before, usually the 110v cord is all looped and tied together, with a protective cap that covers the prongs.... and it should be stashed somewhere under your hood... like on a fender-well... where you can see it, but it's not terribly obvious. If you bought the vehicle used, someone might have already strung the cord up to and through the grill... or have it hanging under the front bumper.. Good luck..

Cant find the block heater cord for 2011 mitsubitshi eclipse

are you sure its the heater core?I had a 2003 mitsu gallant and it was the a/c draining on the floor. It was the drain under the hood that needed to be sealed. You see around the drain they put something that helps with vibration and it erodes causing the water to go back in the vehicle.Find a good gasket material like something they use to put around windshields and work it around the drain. This is common in mitsus .If your sure its the heater core.Give more specific infomation

Block heater

The block heater has a electrical cord with 3 plugs that goes into a electrical wall socket, look for the cord, the block heater plug is usually somewhere on the back of the engine on the sunfire / cavalier models, 95 and up, the owners manual should be helpful to you, also the repair manual is helpful as well.

We have a 2003 Beetle 1.8L Turbo. We cant find the block heater plug. Any suggestions?

Your block heater cord should be in the very front, somewhere in the area behind your bumper/grille area. Also check under the hood on both sides, it will be the only 3 wire grounded cord in there. It may be coiled up also, so look for a coiled up unpluged cord too.
Good luck
