2000 Lincoln navigator will not start

Presumably you disconnected the battery when you did the fuel pump and PCM? It also looks like the PCM has to be programmed with the VIN Number.

I have an '09 toyota camry and the navigation system won't work, tried to hard start the system by disconnecting the battery but it still won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think you will need to access the Nav System with a professional
scanner or scan tool & then use manufacture trouble charts, to even know what the system is supposed to do, & how to diagnose it

Hopefully a repair shop, if they want the job, otherwise blow out
your wallet at a dealer

1993 Buick Park Avenue we had a dead battery so we removed and charged it. Now the Car won't start and when I put key in the ignition the security light starts flashing

Any car with a Factory Anti-Theft System does this whenever battery power is lost. If your owners manual doesn't address this, you will have to contact a GM Dealer to get the system reset. Sorry!

I have a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. About 2 weeks ago, my air compressor for the suspension quit coming on, and my back end sank to the frame. I read online that it is probably the solid state relay, located...

Wow. I have a Mark VIII, so I can empathize...they really load these things up with electrical controls, and I know from experience to start with basics-get a digital meter and check your battery voltage when the car has been sitting for a few hours, it should be 12.5 volts. Next, check voltage when running-it should be about 15 when first started, gradually dropping down to about 14.2 after a few minutes. I cannot emphasis how important good power is on these power-hungry systems.
Check your connections at the battery, make sure the terminals are immaculate and the lugs are too-and you might try removing BOTH clamps and hold them together for a few minutes to discharge electrical components. Hook them back up (always hook up the positive cable first), and start the vehicle and let it idle for 5 minutes-then gently drive it for another five, to reset sensors. Assuming your battery and laternator are good to begin with, if you still have the problems you describe, you probably have a major malfunction with modules or even the ECM, something the dealer will have to diagnose with a Tech 2 scanner.

Battery light is on

Hello and welcome to FixYa!

If the battery light is on, I strongly suggest that you have the battery charged. It can be an indication of a weak battery or a faulty alternator. If the battery light still on after charging then the problem will surely be on the alternator itself. If that's the case the alternator should be replaced to resolve the problem.

If the battery won't hold charge even on a new alternator then the problem will be on the battery itself. It surely is in the end of it's service life and replacement will be necessary.

You may try to reset it to by removing the positive battery connector, letting it sit for at least 5mins. then reconnect it again. This will reset the system and can get the battery light off.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

Navigation system is locked up after battery replacement

Found the SN and CODE on the white label attached to the side of the glovebox. SN begins with a "B" followed by 8 numbers. The 4 digit code can be entered into the navigation system to unlock & reset the unit after a power disconnect.
