SOURCE: brake pad pulsating

Possible causes- low spot on the rotors. Caliper pins not sliding with pulsation. May not need to replace pads.

SOURCE: Replacement brake pads for 06 Lexus GS 300?

go with standard pads.they wear a little faster than ceramics.but they dont wear down brake rotors.ceramics pads are hard and they cause brakes to squeak.also your car is under warranty with lexus dealership.i would use what they said. because you have future brake problem. they will void out warranty for not using their brakes.

SOURCE: how to replace the cabin air filter on the gx470

open the glove box, grasp it firmly and pull straight up on one side and then the other. the box will unsnap from the hinge, once loose lower the box gently and let it hang from the tension cord. behind the box you will see a cover with release clips. remove the cover. pull the filter and tray straight out. be sure to replace the filter proper side up, it will be marked. reassemble.

SOURCE: 2000 Lexus RX 300 - VSC Light comes on and brake pulsation

you most likely have an "air gap" or "tone ring" problem with one of your sensors or tone rings. i would suggest letting a technician diagnos which problem it is, as it is a diagnosis that requires some experience.

Hi, No the rotors aren't pressed on they are probably rusted to the hub. Make sure there are no retainer clips around the lugs and then using a 3# hammer strike the rotor around the center this should free it up and let you remove it.Good luck

I have had the front rotors resurfaced 2 or 3 times and replaced twice once with toyota parts-the pulsating always reappears after awhile when braking. What up with that?

its the disks or you call them rotors! there warped again harsh braking and stopping from high speed will warp the disks, having them "refased" is a wast of money!! that wont last five minuets,,,,puting on new disks and new pads will put it right, but stoping hard from hight speed will only warp them again also have your "abs" looked at as this could be were the problem is, and not the disk at all,

Need rotors and pads

gx's do not do well with aftermarket brake pads. they always end up in the dealership shop with some noise, pulsation or vibration problem and i see many people paying twice for brakes. i know brake jobs are expensive at the dealer but its really the only way to go. oem parts and an experienced tech are the best way to go.

Well even though you had the rotors turned, they still could be warped and causing the car to shake at a high rate of speed when the brakes are applied. My suggestion is to replace the rotors asap.
