Changing bulbs in fog lights

I can't figure out how to get to the fog lights to change the bulbs in my 2005 Kia Sportage EX. There is the plastic cowl inside the wheel well and no way to get to it from the engine compartment.

One of my fog lamps went out about a year ago and the only thing I've been told by the guys at autozone in the past is to take it to the dealership. (Not going to happen since they charge out the ****!!!!) i'm just waiting for the other to go out then I'll think about getting it fixed.

Hi this is a bit of a hair raiser, first of all you need to turn the wheel all the way into the motor, left or right depending .
The plastic cover underneath is only held on by some screws and retainers take these out, the cover will be loose but won't come out, gently pry it away from the fender, reach behind and unscrew the bulb housing. Be warned there are two or three different bulbs on the market take yours out before heading off to your local spare parts dealer, it might save you the time of having to go again.
hope this helped
regards Warren

Left blinker stays on when light are on then when

If it has a combination switch, headlights, wipers, turn signal all on one lever, then it is the problem.Unless the bulb in that signal light is bad,the filiment in the bulb can melt down and cause a back feed.Try changing that one bulb first.

Describe how to change fog lamp (just the bulb) on 2005 subaru forester. As far as I know the fog light assembly is fine, the bulb has just burned out. If you know which bulb to use please let me know,...

2005 Forester - It is easiest to remove the fog assembly.

1. From underneath the vehicle pry out one plastic fastener to be able to bend the light weight plastic mud protector downward. You will see the underside of the fog light assembly with one 10mm bolt directly above you. Remove this bolt.
2. From the front of the vehicle unscrew one 10mm bolt at top of fog light (this is the shorter of the 2 by the way) and pry out one plastic rivet adjacent to it.

3. Carefully remove the fog assembly and disconnect 2-pin power connector by pulling up on the release. Carefully wiggle the housing out (no force req'd).
4. Unscrew the back from the housing and replace H3 bulbs. Take care not to touch the bulb while replacing.

5. Reverse to install.

Should take an hour at most.
