L1995Lexus LS400 speedometer does not work-


the Lexus ls400 speedometer sticks at the bottom and does not work. The RPMs indicator did not work either. After driving 5 blocks, the speedometer started working. A ny suggestions? Help would be appreciated!

I have a similar problem with the speedo needle which sticks at 0 occasionally. To get it working I tap firmly on the front of the instrument panel and it pops right up. I don't know the cause but it isn't a major issue. Try it.

best ask a steering specialist shop as the engine identification shows a es300 as a 1mz-fe (3.0 ltr) and a ls400 as a 1uz-fe (4.0 ltr)
there may be mounting differences between the engines
