Question about 1992 Cadillac DeVille
I have a 92 Caddy Deville. The heat and ac work fine. The blower motor also works. The problem is very little air coming out the vents. I can feel air shift from vents to defrost to floor but very little air flow coming out. Could it be a vacum leak? Where would I begin to look for one?
Is the fan motor working at full speed
check for blocked cabin air filter
the vacuum only works the vent controls and as you can feel the changes of the vents , it is not vacuum

SOURCE: air conditioner blower
Does this happen when you accelerate or all the time??, if you have a vacuum operated air distribution system the issue is a vacuum leak, if the AC is electronic then the air blend door motor is failing.

These trucks have a problem where moisture builds up in the heater box then freezes. When this freezes and you change your heater settings it breaks the shaft for the blend door. If this is what happened you should be able to look under the dash above and to the right of the gas pedal and you will see two vaccuum accuators one of them you should be able to wiggle around the linkage if it is broke. To fix this you need to remove the entire dash to get the heater box out which involves discharging the AC and draining the coolant because the heater core and evaporator come out. Please rate.

You probably have a vacuum leak on the passenger side. its a small plastic hose some times they come unpluged from the engine. or brake.

I may have had a similar problem, for a long time my blower motor made a loud howling/roaring noise, hard to explain, but I only heard the noise when the blower was turned on. It continued to blow air for a couple years then just quit, the noise it made continued for another 6 months to a year without air-flow. Finally it quit blowing air at all. I eventually replaced the blower motor and no more noise and air flow was restored. Hopefully you already have fixed this because removing and replacing the blower motor wasn't fun.
