My 1995 chevy silverado z71 has power to running lights, but not to the right brake or blinker or emergency signal. I recently changed all the bulbs but it still would not work. My right reverse light also works.
It would work for a little while and then go out and then start working again later but now it is completly out.
I have power at the left light but not the right. I think the problem is the wiring harness. Where can I get a new wire harness for the right side?
Check fuse.if good you got grounding problems or faulty turn signal switch.
i would replace turn signal switch.first its cheaper than wire harness very expensive.most of the time turn signal switch is the problem.switch has a open in it.when you turn right the switch send power to right side signal lights.if switch is open no signal or brake light works.
do your right front signal lights work if not its the switch.if right is working.then your bulb sockets dirty on inside causing poor contact .go to advance auto get some electronic cleaner. to clean out bulb sockets.if that dont work replace bulb sockets.besure get high temp electrical grease that goes in electrical sockets to keep from getting too hot.

I have checked the fuses and the relays and they are both good. I have power at the rear T fitting where the wires come from the front of the truck to the rear. I have a feeling there is a short in the rear wire harness somewhere. Can i just buy a new wireharness somewhere? if so where and what is the part number?
Well its only the right tail light and turn signal. if the turn signal switch was out wouldn't the left side be out aswell? When i hit my brakes the 3rd brake light and the left side still work. the only thing that works on the right side is the reverse lights and the parking lights.
yeah the front turn signal works. I also replace the rear tail light circuit board and had the same problem so i returned the circuit board.
