Front tires out of alignment

It was fine. One day I was driving around and my tires started squealing. Got home and noticed my tires were visibly not aligned with each other. Inspected all connections, and there was no sign of damage or slippage on any parts of the suspension, alignment, or control assemblies. What may have happened, and how do I fix it?

INSPECT YOUR BALL JOINTS UPER AN LOWER. IT IS HARD TO TELL IF THEIR IS SLACK OR PLAY IN THEM WITH THE WAIGHT OF THE CAR ON THE TIRES. THEY CAN ALSO CAUSE VIBRATION IN THE FRONT SIDE THAT IS BAD AT HIGH SPEEDS.

SOURCE: 2003 Mitsubishi Galant ES Clunking noise

the first thing i would check is the sway bar bushings they usualy go first. you have a bushing out somwhere. ive replace many struts because people have requested new struts and when we install them they come back and complain that the clunk is still there and all it needed was a bushing kit for $20
hope this helps

Definately an alignment issue. May even be something damaged. Need to find out as you may have a pre-existing condition that you can take back to where you purchsed this vehicle.

SOURCE: car pull to right just had n alignment and new

You just had an alignment done to adjust caster!
Sears never road tested the vehicle and can't tell you what the issues are? That's why you went there.

Richard, If camber noticeably out and tires are squealing, you will need to take in and have it checked out and aligned at a good shop.

Why does my front left tire squeals when i turn right

Squealing could be due to:
- Improper Tire inflation.
- Maladjustment in the front wheel alignment.
- Worn out suspension system.

I have a 2008 Hyundai Elantra. I have a knocking sound coming from the front driver's side. I notice it most when I am braking, but I just had all my pads and rotors replaced 10 months ago, and don't...

sounds like a suspension rubber or a ball joint gone bad, they should have picked up a worn ball joint during the wheel alignment, but not all aligner's are alike

Can't find the source of the squeal

Year make and model ??
The belt could be glazed and slipping even if it is tight.
You could have a weak belt tensioner too.
The noise when the ac or heat is turned on can be the extra load from the ac compressor or the alternator. The compressor cycles on and off especially in defrost mode.
The load from the alternator is the first noise of the day. As the belt warms up it becomes better at handling the load of the accessories.
Even tho the belt looks fine, you may have to replace it to get rid of the noise.

Uneven tire wear on passenger side--front & back. Inner tread worn more than outer.

you'll need an alignment to determine if their is any parts failure

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. It sounds like it may be a brake pad. Chances are one of them fell off and that is why you no longer hear it. I would check the pads and the caliper also. Make sure the pads don't need changed and everything looks right Luke.

When you turn the wheel the tires squal. The car was spun around in a accident nothing leaking stearing dont seam to be bent Tires have a tow in on the front.

on fords turning the wheel to extreme will cause a squeal in the power steering, Its been that way for years, if it does it with even a slight turn,, get a front end alignment and mention the problem to whoever it is your having do the alignment
