CD player won't accept or eject a CD. Once in, it plays great. Push eject button and the CD stays stuck in the player. I have it open where I can see the reader go up to accept and down while it plays. I just have to push it to the right place to make it work. Push eject, it stops spinning and reader raises as if to let the CD out, but it just stays there. I wonder if there is a worn out device (rubber wheel?) that won't move the CD in and out.

Disconnect and then reconnect the car battery (when the car is not running, of course). When you turn the car back on, the CD will pop out.

The only thing that is left for you to do is to remove the stereo and then disassemble it and remove it yourself. A little daunting but needs to be done. Sounds like it went in wrong and then became jammed

We have this problem all the time. Sadly, replacing the radio is the only answer.

You can use another old CD and some very sticky tape (like duct tape).Take a peice of tape about 2 inches long.Fold it so it's half the lenth and sticky on both sides.Adhere it to the end of the old CD so its flat and will adhere to the other stuck CD.Slide the old CD w/the tape on it(aimed down) in the CD slot and while pressing the eject button and adhere it to the stuck CD and pull.It should stick to the other CD and dislodge it
