Hi, I'm Dan
My car is a AE 110 Toyota Corolla.
When press on the gas to go faster it takes a
little while for the speed to kicks in, also it happens
when driving up a steep road. When press on the gas right down the
car speed remains the same for a while, then after the car goes faster.

there is no factory-designed period for this...the fluid is expected to last life of vehicle (120,000 mile is longest interval) . you can change it any time you want to.

have you changed the fuel filter lately a plugged fuel filter will cause this concern
did the power loss start all of a sudden or did you start losing power over time ?
SOURCE: Transmission wont engage or disengages
Per your description, it sounds like you have a forward clutch assembly that is failing.
Has the transmission been serviced, filter and fluid exchange?
Is this a very "high milage" car?
Let me know.
