I have a Truck trailblazer 2003 but the tachometer is not working
SOURCE: 2004 Trailblazer tachometer problem
On the 03-06 Trailblazer instrument clusters this is a common problem. It's caused by a failing stepper motor on the cluster's circuit board and can be repaired. Check out this page for more about how to get it fixed and other common cluster problems with the Trailblazers - Trailblazer tachometer broken
SOURCE: All warning lights flashing on dash of chevy
All warning lights flashing on dash of my 2002 chevy trailblazer. Runs fine all gagues go dark and turn back on every now and then. Also the gagues all go to the right or stick half way like I am idling at 5000 and going at a speed of 60mph when I am sitting still. I am thinking it has something to do with my computer because the rest of the truck is working just fine.
SOURCE: replace low beam headlight on 2003 chevy trailblazer
I just replaced the low-beam bulb on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. The grill just needs to be loosed slightly. Then, raise two L shaped brackets, one on each side. For the inside one, I needed to use a flathead screwdriver to get to it. The light assembly can then be pulled out. Remove the rubber cover and rotate the bulb one quarter turn left to release it. Pull out the bulb, replace with a new one ($11.50) from Advance Auto Parts, and reverse the process. Once I figured it out, took about 10 minutes total.
Sounds like a bad speedometer sensor. Usually located on the transmission. The only way to fix the speedometer is to replace the sensor.
The Variable Speed Sensor (VSS) has failed. You will have to get it replaced. Both are driven by an electrical signal sent to the cars computer by the VSS, and converted to SPEED, and DISTANCE driven.
