Radio code i had to replace a battery and now radio is asking for code

The radio code has nothing to do with the power draw on the battery, You really need a good electrician to trace that draw.

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

if 100%dead it can only be 3 things
1: fuse blow , i bet
2, wire cut to radio (called power B+)
3: the radio is dead, bench test it. ask

These codes are stored on the factory data base computer system, we do not have access to that, only the dealer does in most cases. There is one site that may have it for a fee of about $10.00 USD called www.radio-code.com

GO TO A MITSUBISHI DEALER AND ASK FOR CODE ,MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RADIO WITH YOU OR MODEL NUMBER.

try being nice and ask your local chevy parts man for the code, but you still need a professional scanner to reset and enter the code
